“Open Doors was a pilot scheme activating vacant space on five high streets across England, matching landlords struggling to find tenants for their empty properties with community groups looking for space. The project was managed by Meanwhile Space CIC in partnership with the Meanwhile Foundation charities.
The spaces were fitted out and opened up for local people and organisations to test community-focused ideas which could make positive use of a high street space and bring people together.”
