Meanwhile Space were employed by Brent Council to test uses and facilitate the re-use of a conventional building in South Kilburn that was not effectively serving the local community. Carlton Kitchen was developed to provide access to quality facilities for a variety of food-based community uses. The space hosted community events and food skills workshops, including bread making and a young people’s food academy, as well as supper clubs and a winter food market.
